In a vibrant celebration of Arab identity, cultural pride, and inspiring success stories in the United States, California hosted the ARABICA CONNECT Festival on October 3–4, 2026, bringing together entrepreneurship, culture, creativity, and meaningful human connections under one roof.

The two-day event emerged as a dynamic gathering place for business owners, talented individuals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders representing diverse Arab communities across the United States.

Building on the success of its October edition, organizers have already announced the festival’s return on Saturday and Sunday, January 23–24, 2027, promising a bigger, more diverse experience featuring an expanded program, exciting surprises, and activities making their debut.

The upcoming edition reflects the festival’s growing ambition to strengthen the Arab community’s presence in American society while creating new opportunities for collaboration, networking, and shared success.

A Celebration of Arab Ambition and Achievement:

Throughout the two-day festival, the venue came alive with an energetic atmosphere that brought together Arab businessmen and businesswomen, entrepreneurs, social media influencers, content creators, brand owners, and talented individuals from various Arab backgrounds.

Visitors enjoyed a diverse program featuring live performances, shopping experiences, fashion showcases, business exhibitions, and marketing opportunities, alongside products and services presented by Arab-owned businesses across multiple industries.

The festive atmosphere reflected the richness and diversity of Arab culture while demonstrating the ability of Arab entrepreneurs to innovate, compete, and thrive in the American marketplace.

More than a traditional commercial exhibition, ARABICA CONNECT provided a valuable platform for participants to exchange experiences, establish professional relationships, and explore potential partnerships.

By combining economic opportunities with cultural celebration and social interaction, the festival highlighted the talent, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit that continue to distinguish Arab communities throughout the United States.

From Social Media Connections to Real-Life Opportunities:

One of the festival’s most distinctive achievements was its ability to transform relationships established in the digital world into meaningful face-to-face interactions.

ARABICA CONNECT brought together Arab entrepreneurs and business owners who have successfully established influential presences through social media platforms and e-commerce, with some reaching audiences of millions of followers.

The event offered these entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their products and services, meet customers and supporters in person, and strengthen the trust that forms the foundation of lasting business relationships.

These personal interactions opened new possibilities for commercial expansion, professional collaboration, and stronger customer engagement.

In this way, ARABICA CONNECT became a bridge connecting digital success with real-world opportunities, demonstrating how Arab entrepreneurs are leveraging modern technology to develop successful businesses and establish an increasingly influential economic presence in American society.

Hussein Hashem and Ines Abou Jabal: A Shared Arab Vision Behind the Festival:

ARABICA CONNECT California was founded and organized under the leadership of Lebanese media personality Hussein Hashem, creator of the popular “Sho Al Akhbar” channel on YouTube and social media platforms, and Ines Ashour Abou Jabal, a Tunisian-born Arab American businesswoman and entrepreneur.

Their collaboration reflects a shared vision of combining media expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and organizational leadership to serve Arab communities across the United States.

Through their joint efforts, the festival delivered a well-organized experience that encouraged meaningful engagement between entrepreneurs and visitors while highlighting Arab success stories, business initiatives, and creative achievements.

Their vision extends beyond organizing a seasonal event. It seeks to establish ARABICA CONNECT as an ongoing platform that brings Arab talents together, supports emerging businesses, promotes entrepreneurship, and provides opportunities for individuals to showcase their accomplishments.

By creating a welcoming environment for collaboration and cultural exchange, the founders aim to strengthen the visibility, influence, and contributions of Arab Americans within the broader American community.

Prominent Diplomatic and Community Presence Highlights the Festival’s Significance:

The festival attracted distinguished diplomatic representatives, community leaders, and prominent figures from Arab American organizations.

Among the notable attendees was a delegation from the General Union of Egyptians Abroad in the United States, led by businessman Mr. Raafat Salib, President of the Union.

The delegation included Eng. Hesham Setita, Vice President of the Union; Maestro Adel Eskandar, Chairman of the Union’s Arts Committee; Captain Ehab Zenga, Chairman of the Sports Committee; and Wael Loutfalla, Chairman of Charisma Newspaper and Chairman of the Union’s Media Committee, alongside several Union members and distinguished community representatives.

The festival also welcomed Dr. Saif Al-Jawani, Acting Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Los Angeles, and Eng. Asaad Alnajjar, an Iraqi American and former candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles.

A number of other prominent figures and leaders from the Arab and American communities were also in attendance.

Their participation underscored the festival’s growing importance as a meeting point for diplomatic representatives, community organizations, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.

It also demonstrated the value of bringing together Arab communities from different nationalities and backgrounds to encourage greater understanding, cooperation, and collective progress.

General Union of Egyptians Abroad Participates for the Second Consecutive Year:

The participation of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad in the United States for the second consecutive year reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Arab community initiatives that promote unity, cooperation, and stronger connections among Arab Americans.

Mr. Raafat Salib, President of the Union, and Eng. Hesham Setita, Vice President, praised the festival’s outstanding organization and described it as a successful example of celebrating shared Arab achievements.

They emphasized the importance of initiatives that combine economic, cultural, and social dimensions while providing entrepreneurs, business owners, and talented individuals with opportunities to present their experiences, exchange knowledge, and expand their professional and community networks.

Both expressed hope that this successful initiative would continue to grow and eventually expand to other American states, building on similar community efforts and creating additional opportunities for collaboration and business partnerships.

They also extended their sincere appreciation to Hussein Hashem and Ines Abou Jabal for their dedication and exceptional organizational efforts in presenting an event that reflects the talent, creativity, accomplishments, and potential of Arab communities throughout the United States.

The Union delegation received a warm welcome from festival organizers and participants, reflecting the importance of cooperation between community organizations and Arab-led economic and cultural initiatives.

One Shared Identity, Many Cultures and Experiences:

The significance of ARABICA CONNECT extended far beyond its commercial exhibitions and entertainment activities.

The festival carried a deeper social and cultural message by bringing together individuals from different Arab nationalities, generations, professional backgrounds, and cultural experiences.

Despite their diverse personal journeys, participants shared a common sense of heritage, belonging, and pride in their Arab identity.

The direct interaction between entrepreneurs and visitors, as well as between younger and older generations, demonstrated how meaningful communication, shared experiences, and mutual support can become powerful forces for collective advancement.

The festival also highlighted the increasingly important role of Arab businessmen and businesswomen in American society and their ability to transform ambitious ideas into successful enterprises.

Through innovation, determination, and entrepreneurship, these individuals continue to make valuable contributions to the economic, social, and cultural fabric of the United States.

ARABICA CONNECT offered a vivid reminder that diversity within the Arab community is not a barrier to unity, but rather a source of strength, creativity, and opportunity.
